well, where to start?
My nick, Nuwanda, says about everything about me... if you know what "Nuwanda" is, obviously xD (by the way, sorry for my english, I'm not really good at it).
My name is Ludovica and I'm from Italy. I'm 15 and I'm dreaming of applying UWC since somebody mentioned it to me quite a lot of years ago.
Next year I'll be doing admission. And well, I'm already worried and nervous for that.

I hope to hear from you soon
Ludovica

Hi, well I'm in the same position as you really, just here in the UK!

I kinda feel lucky that I haven't known about UWC for that long since I haven't been caught up in wanting to go there for years... Now that I do know about I really really want to experience it!

Whats the application process like for you there in Italy?

as far as I know, here in Italy we have to write to our National Comitee a sort of "letter of application", with a letter of the headteacher of our school and the results of the second year of secondary school and the first part of the third year. Than you're called for a sort of test and if you pass the test for the interview.. how does it work there in the UK?

From what I've gathered online you fill in the application form (what kind of things you do, why you want to go) send it off with an reccomendation letter from someone like your tutor at school. We don't do any sort of test here, its all based on predicted grades for our GCSE's and what you write on your application form, and then you either get an interview or not...

I'm a bit worried also about my marks... because next year will be a difficoult year at school and I think that it'll be difficoult to have the same marks I have this year >_<
